Fascinating. I was onboard the Phil Sea in San Francisco during Fleet Week once. I remember riding the #2 elevator up to the flight deck. I've seen Skyraiders and Corsairs at air shows, but never a Panther or Cougar. A family friend flew Marine Corsairs in WWII and Korea, so I've always been a fan of that wonderful aircraft.
