617 Squadron....the Beeb and Dambusting!
Here's a bloody GREAT page and video segment on the 617 Squardon Mission against the dams in the Ruhr River Valley 65 years ago today.

At the Imperial War Museum in London there is a restored fuselage section of a Lancaster you can actually walk...more like crawl...through. Pretty tight quarters in those babies. No wonder, as they mentioned in the video, that there were few survivors when one of them was hit.
